A Workspace is the area that holds a collection of sites, users, and settings around a particular project or team. Users can be in multiple Workspaces at once and they can be a great way to organize web work at large organizations or agencies.
Sites inside a Workspace can be accessed by users added to that particular Workspace. Users can also be given certain permissions based on roles. A Workspace is limited by how many sites and users it can hold at one time based on your plan subscription for that Workspace.
For Agencies
We recommend Agencies use different Workspaces for each respective client. The Workspaces are made to hold a collection of users that resembles a 1:1 relationship between client and project.
Billing can be directed and shared easily within a Workspace, and billing admins from client's can be added to handle payment info.
